The best part of my experience at Truman High School was really getting out there by making some friends. But the worst part was how much pressure I felt to choose a career path immediately. They wanted you to choose one pathway and stick with it, but what if you need more time to think about it, you know?

During my time at Truman High School, I experienced a severe mental heath related crisis. While this occurred, the teachers and faculty provided me with a lot of important support that allowed me to thrive during my last two years of school there. I found the experience at the school to be beneficial due to the support from the teachers.

I didn't like the way that admin dealt with issues like bullying, etc. My education was impacted by covid so I don't feel as though my quality of learning was amazing, but I do think there are some great teachers there. Truman isn't a horrible option for public school but I wouldn't recommend it if you have access to a private school.

My experience at this school was horrible, the first 7 weeks I didn’t have a school issued device, the classrooms are overpacked there’s barely in any walking space in each classroom, most teachers don’t care about your mental health. Your only allowed 5 passes per week and that’s it I watched a kid...
