Ione Community Charter School is a very small school, so it does not have much facilities or other necessities a student may need. Some teachers are good at teaching and are kind while others are very rude and have hard times teaching their curriculum correctly. The food is quite terrible, most students go to the store and spend money, leaving the school to throw away a lot of leftovers. There are not many sports and clubs, with band and cheer being two clubs that have become defunct.

I loved going to Ione Charter school. It is located in a small rural community that has strong roots and pride in this school. The community is supportive of its students and it activities whether it is sports, concerts, to fundraisers. The teachers are available for extra help in their classes and encourage creativity. They are kind and care about all students.

Teachers are great. One or two need to be more understanding. The new principal Mr. Rameriez is wonderful with the kids and really cares. He has brought order back to the school. He has a quiet presence but is firm. The best principal sine Ione became a charter school.

Terrible. My child was bullied for several years but because it was a teachers kid nothing was done. My child was called a liar & dramatic. I would not recommend this school to anyone who cares about their child. Academics & techers are subpar.
