GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Iowa Park High School is a great school to have your children attend. It has a high academic rate, with amazing staff and teachers. The biggest downside to the school, I would say, is the lack of diversity. Iowa Park is a very small town where everyone knows everyone else. Though diversity is not something you can really control, it is the only real issue at the school.

Overall it was a rather decent High School experience. Nothing out of the blue happened and I was taught well

I went to Iowa Park from the age of 8 to graduation. This school put me through a lot, and gave me a lot. As much as people don't like school, myself included, I will miss it in a way. I made so many memories and friends throughout the years that i will never forget. Some of my best friends I found in this school, and we are even going to college together. If it wasn't for the colorguard program in the school I wouldn't have met them. If it wasn't for the opportunities this school gave me, I wouldn't be where I am now.

My sister and I started IPHS in 1999 as freshman and sophomore students and we never had a problem "fitting in" as some of the reviews claim to have experienced. It's all about personality and how you interact with other people. Both us of were very involved in sports and extracurricular activities...

I attended Iowa Park High School for 3 years and graduated in 2009. I did not grow up in the town and I did not attend the Jr. High or Elementary Schools. I did have a hard time 'fitting in' with the other students. I had the worst time getting along with the teachers. And I did notice that if you d...
