The best and worst parts of my experience here at MacArthur is that our teachers are not the best at their jobs. Also the counselors are also terrible because they take forever to get back with you or they won't even send an email back at all. I would like there to be a change in the way our faculty does things.

My experience in MacArthur was overall okay. I would like to see a change in the safety for the past incidents of near school shootings and students getting caught with guns two years ago. My best experience is with some teachers some genuinely seem to want to teach students about the class and some might just put some slides or go with some list of what to do. There have been some incidents of inappropriate play with some students but only once. My experience also involves seeing fights here and there throughout the school year.

All these reviews about homophobia are misguided. This school has been excellent for our teen. I love the principal and all his teachers have been super supportive and encouraging.

this schools administration has a history of homophobia and racism. right now all lgbtq+ youth are suffering under the hands of their principal. all lgbtq+ clubs, after school activities, and any sort of representation or support has been taken away. if any teachers speak out about it or support the...
