Jackson Academy is a wonderful private school located in Jackson, MS. Its mission is, " Within our nurturing and spiritual community, Jackson Academy inspires and equips each student to lead a life of purpose and significance." JA is well known for its variety of sports, arts, and very modern facilities.

Education is pretty average. Teachers are nice and helpful. Many extracurricular activities you can get involved in.

I love the environment and the faculty. I've met some of my lifelong friends and I'm forever thankful for the academic opportunities that Jackson Academy has given me. However, the main thing that needs fixing is the parking. The school parking is a disaster on event parking days, especially for seniors. Also, the food could be improved, along with the drink and snack machines as they don't work often.

My daughter and son says the students are nicer here than any other school. The school staff is amazing. Great looking football field and gym! Everyone I have talked to loves Jackson Academy!

Academically, they do a very good job. If you are a minority of any sort do not expect to be accepted (but you know this already).
