As the Gem of the Beaches since 1963, Seabreeze Elementary School educates Jacksonville Beach students in prekindergarten through fifth grade while also engaging with the community. The school’s students enjoy an enriched education that includes art, drama and class trips. There are special events throughout the year such as Seabreeze Spirit Night, ice cream socials and holiday celebrations. Students cheer their Seabreeze Seahorses in athletics with teams for several sports including basketball and cheerleading.
One of Seabreeze Elementary’s distinguishing characteristics is its strong Parent Teacher Association. The PTA has been recognized with numerous accolades over the years including the Duval County PTA of the Year, a Five Star Excellence Award and a Keep Jacksonville Beautiful award. The PTA sponsors many student activities and fundraisers that support programs such as Blessings in a Backpack which provides students who receive free or reduced-priced lunches food to take home over weekends.
Seabreeze Elementary is part of the Duval County school system and has over 550 students. The school offers an afterschool enrichment program and participates in Florida’s free prekindergarten program. Seabreeze Elementary School fosters individual, academic and socio-emotional growth in its students. Horrible school. They do not promote reading or math.More than half of my child's class can read proficiently, let alone write. Meanwhile, teachers aren't teaching and students aren't learning and their grades will continue to suffer on standardized tests.

School has been my favorite part of the day science Kindergarten. I recommend that you should pick this school, because you get great learning abilities and don't have to wear a uniform.
