GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

One of the things that I would change is to have a larger variety of classes for students who are interested in becoming teachers.

I like my teachers Give students a little more freedom. If I want to be on my chromebook and miss the lecture, then that's my fault.

Overall a pretty good small town school. Some really great teachers but also some not so great. Does not offer many classes, most are basic into courses in a small variety of fields. A lot of focus on agriculture and football.

We're excited to have a student in school next year after having learned more about the school and community this past few years.

As a 2010 graduate of Jefferson-Scranton I feel I got a quality education. The teachers are very connected to the students, and they do all they can to make sure the students succeed. As the schools from surrounding towns consolidated to form the Greene County Community School District, I still see...
