The best parts of my high school experience at Jefferson high school was the art classes. The worst part was the other students being hateful and the teachers not doing much to give them consequences.

I love being able to go to a small school where i feel my voice is heard, but I also feel that I lack some opportunities I would get if i went to a bigger school.

I have gone to school in the Jefferson District my whole life, and over time, I have slowly seen the quality of education decline. I didn't really realize it was an issue until I began attending Willamette Career Academy. JHS doesn't have a welcoming environment, and despite being such a small town, there is no sense of community. I don't feel that the administration truly cares about me, my goals, or preparing me for my future. I would like to see better funding at JHS so that students can truly enjoy the high school experience.

I think my child and the others in her graduating class were given the highest of personal values and the best attention from the teachers and staff that I could hope for. The community of volunteers was also very supportive.
