GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Jessieville High School didn't seem like they cared about their students. I like being there with my friends but besides that I didn't really like Jessieville.

The school is alright because of the people there. The majority of the staff cares, but the students don't. This is not the school's fault, it is a parental fault, because the vast majority of the student body is content with low standards. The only flaw I see from the school is the new rules and policies that were added recently.

Just the usual bare-minimum activities: fccla, fbla, fca, and that's really it as far as clubs go. Then you have the main sports: track, football, baseball, basketball and a few others.

I know that most kids who aren't happy are the ones who are the most vocal outside the school grounds. I a...

I was once a student at jessieville. Considering it was the only school I've ever been to I thought it was great. That is until I moved schools. After about a week or two I realized jessieville sucked. The teachers do not teach the right material and for kids who don't care they give them passing gr...

There is little to no communication from the school to parents, when they do communicate it is to tell you of an event at most 2 days away. They have an online grade communication site, but grades are only updated maybe twice in a 9 week period-if your child is having trouble in a class you don't kn...
