The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hodgeman County treated me well. The small classes allowed me to have a special bond with each of my teachers and fellow school mates which I do believe will really help me excel in college.

I would say most of my best experiences evolved around athletic events that I was involved in. I participated in volleyball basketball, and track and I developed so many great friendships while involved in these sports and so many memories that will last a life time. What made the athletics so great was the coaching staff I was lucky enough to have. They put so much time in effort in us on and off the court and it was an amazing feeling.

Most of the extra curricular activities are sport related. They need more academic variety.
