I've gone here all 4 years. The schools biggest issue is safety. Students have set stuff in the bathrooms on fire and brought firearms to campus. On the other hand, they offer great resources and opportunities for our students like our FTC program and classes for college prep.

I attended Joplin High School from freshman through senior year. The building and technology was nice and everyone received their own chrome books to use for school work. The best part was the athletics and the energy that came with every football game. The worse part is the clickiness of the school students. Basically the more money you have or the better car you drive the more you fit in.

I have had an amazing time at Joplin. The sports are pretty fun and the academics are very good. I believe we have the best academics in our area, with so many early college courses available.

Excellent high school for kids who want to come to school and learn to be a productive responsible adult. Students even get multiple chances to do their work, retake tests and quizzes. Which is unlike the real adult world, but exactly like all the schools in the area.
