I have a rising 2nd grader at Juan Seguin. I have no complaints. We have been lucky to have two really good teachers over the last year (one retiring this year after 26 years of service). The PTA is active and hosts a few good events each year.

The 4th grade teachers are the best but the kids are always making racist comments. It’s very sad that this is happening in schools and nothing is being done about it. The school needs a new principal that cares about our color kids.

Some of the rules here can be confusing for younger children. For instance, they’re discouraged from “tattling” and encouraged to solve their own problems three times before telling an adult. My son was being bullied by a classmate and he never reported it because he thought he’d be tattling. The pr...

My two daughters, aged 6 and 7, attend Juan Seguin and have seen Kindergarten. My daughters enjoy the teachers who are very nice and helpful, and art class is their favorite. They also attend music class and gym and find these activities a welcome addition to their day. They would enjoy more fun eve...
