I've been attending Ko'olau Baptist Academy since kindergarten. Over the years, it has changed, and unfortunately most of the changes haven't been the best. There are only a few good teachers, but those teachers have been a great help to me and many other students. Yes, many students, including the Seniors, struggle throughout the year, but we manage to get through the year.

I love the Christian philosophy of this school, which helped me to anchor my life and heart. The academics were strong, and the faculty and administration were great role models for me. The ohana feeling is strong here, and student thrive in the environment. Don't pick KBA because it is an inexpensive private school; choose it because your kids will learn to live by solid Christian values that will endure throughout their lives.

We moved to Hi in early 2014 and put our 3 children in public school and my kids were bored to deatb the schools were so far behind. Starting in the fall of 2014 they attended Ko'olau Baptist academy for the next 2 years. They loved it and we did aa well. We worried how the kids would do after moving back to the mainland. We moved in the best over all school system in our entire state and our kids are above average and are in gifted/advance classes.

My daughters attended kindergarten and 3rd grade here and I thought they did an excellent job! The student to teacher ratio is great and it has tremendously helped my girls academic and spiritual growth! Such a great decision!

overall factoring in the teachers the property and the students, i would rate this school a 6.5 out 10 , and 10 being the best

My two children attended Ko Olau for 2nd and 3rd grade. As a previous homeschool mom I could not have been more pleased with the teachers for these grades. I am forever grateful for their care for the kids in their classes and throughout the school.

I would recommend this school to everyone. As a parent of a 2nd, 5th, and 7th grader who is attending Koolau Baptist Academy I am very pleased with the academics, teachers and environment.
