Went to this school several years ago and it was a very typical middle school experience. Had great teachers and decent sports teams and fine arts.

Seven Lakes Junior High dropped the ball during the digital learning with the Covid-19 pandemic. The school dropped home work on the web site and expected the parents to teach the children. The school has a responsibility to teach the children their lessons and SLJH left it up to the parents to teach the class material. I was really surprised in the lack of support provided. If digital learning is a permanent part of the Katy ISD future plans they need to take responsibility for teaching the children the course work and not expect the parents to teach school while they are working during the day.

My son has autism and he attends seven lakes jh. He has faced a lot of bullying with that being said this issue was addressed quickly. Teachers are really nice. My son is finishing his 8th grade and I am very glad and satisfied with his academic a personal development. SLJH is one of the best Junior High School that I have known. They have a perfect balance between the academic and the arts.
