New Hopewell Elementary was designated as a Reward School for the 2021-2022 school year. Only 9 schools in Knox County received this designation for the 2021-2022 school year. New Hopewell was the only South Knoxville School to received this honor.

I have a son in fifth grade at New Hopewell this year and have a daughter in high school that went here too. I absolutely LOVE this school. I have only had one bad experience since 2007 and that was with a teacher that I just didn't click with. But in every other way, this school is awesome!

This school is a " just the right size" neighborhood school. We see the principal, teachers, and staff at the local Walmart, grocery stores, restaurants, and at events in the community. New Hopewell is a perfect community school. Everyone works together to help each child to be the best they can be.

New administrator/principal since the 2012-2013 school year. She loves the kids and listens to parents. All of the staff are among the best. I hear other parents from other schools talking. Their teachers and their principals are not friendly nor caring. They never see them. The New Hopewell Teacher...
