At Southwestern Heights one of my best experience was going to state for scholars bowl as a junior. One of the worst parts would be the sports teams.

It is a great place to to go school. It does have some issues like every other place. They are very welcoming and inviting. The faculty and staff connect and care for every student. I have gone to this district my whole life and never regretted going here.

SWH the school in the middle of nowhere. SWH has an amazing arts program, including Choir, Band, and Art. I am involved in numerous athletic and extracurricular activities. The activities I participate in have not made it to a State event, but the coaches have led me to be a better leader within our teams, as well as outside of school. In life, there will be people you don't get along with. I've had teachers I don't agree with, whether it is morally or how they teach. This has helped me become a better person. Within SWH, I would like to see more college classes open to Juniors and Seniors. If you are in advanced math you will take College Algebra as a Junior, the option to take two-night classes is also available. As a Senior, you can go to the local community college to take classes or take College Comp at the school. I would like for SWH to offer more in-person classes taught by teachers at my high school. I feel it would help students learn more easily and be more college-ready.

They have a major problem with bullies and the administration refuses to deal with it. I would never send my child to a school in this district.
