GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experience at La Crosse High School was pretty good. I do wish the school offered more of a variety of clubs and activities to get involved in.

I really like it here. I moved here in the middle of junior year, and everyone has been super welcoming and kind to me for the most part. My only complaints that I have would be the fact that we don't have the opportunity to further our education, like at my other school (which, granted, was way bigger than this one), we would have the choice to be able to be in a gifted program. When I came to this school I was very far ahead of everyone education-wise.

Teachers are all very friendly and always willing to help students with any problems they may have. The relatively small number of students attending makes the learning experience easier and allows for more one on one time. The only problem is that math teachers over the past years have not stayed for long which can make learning math a bit more difficult for some students.
