I went to Muirlands from 2015-2018 and I hated it there. Here are a few things I've noticed from my time there: 1) The teachers are a bit of a mixed bag-- there are few really good ones and a few really bad ones, but most are somewhere in the middle. All of the history teachers that I know of are excellent, though. 2) The school culture is awful. There is a lot of bullying and the staff doesn't do much about it, even when it's reported. This is the main reason why my time at Muirlands was so awful. If your kid is athletic or qualifies for Seminar, they'll be fine. If your kid is autistic or has any behavioral/emotional difficulties, do NOT send them here. They will be bullied. 3) There is a pretty good visual arts program. The two art electives-- art and LJ Radio-- are both good, so if your kid is on the artistic side, they may have that to look forward to. My advice: only send your kid here if they don't have social difficulties because if they do, they will be miserable.

School counselor are terrible, they are not there to help student by any means. I will be pulling out my kid from the school

Excellent school. The teachers are great and very experienced. They really care about the students. We met the principal and she is very friendly, caring. Moving from north part of CA, we love it so far and our kid has been doing very well.
