We moved from NYC and our daughter joined Bishops in 6th grade. The community has been amazing, and the academics, administration and resources rival and surpass those of the private school we moved from, (and loved!). Bishop's is a truly special place, and we could not be happier.

The school has a very large time commitment, but if you really want a high school that will allow you to learn to your absolute maximum, here it is. To illustrate, there are 3 math classes offered that are past Calc BC.

My experience at bishop's has been great so far. This is my second and last year at this school yet I can say that I have grown a lot by learning from the other students, teachers, faculty members, and the vision that the school has.

I have ADHD and felt profoundly unsupported during my unhappy tenure there. I was tracked into the slow version of physical science which put me at a profound disadvantage compared to my peers, who all took advanced physical science. Then, when I showed up AP Biology I was treated like an idiot beca...

Here's something to think about for all you Carmel Valley families...is it really worth over $40k per year to send your child to Bishop's? If CCA were a private school, don't you think they could charge even more based on their results? Smart kids do well regardless of the school. The teaching at TB...
