I am in coming sophomore so I honestly have had no experience at this school. However my old school was pretty horrific. So that's why I'm transferring to a different school.

My overall experience at Helix has been very fun so far. There is a wide range of activities you are able to participate outside of school. I was mainly involved in sports outside of school. My favorite part about it had to be connecting with my peers outside the classroom. I feel the Helix does a great job at preparing students for college. As freshman students take field trips to SDSU and UCSD to get a glimpse of what college life could potentially look like. I feel that this experience was very valuable to me and a lot of other students because it helped us get a sense of what to look for in a school and what we want in a school. Overall my experience at Helix has been exceptional and has prepared me for what is next to come.

Being a part of Helix has been a wonderful experience. From the numerous academic resources provided to the mental health services, Helix has been a safe place for me to express myself while also getting the support I need. The teachers I've had have also been super patient with me and my individual needs without sacrificing my in-class learning.
