GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall I had a good time here, I felt like I was not as involved since sometimes I did not have time(due to personal reasons or the workload is a lot depending how much time you got to work on it) or I was not interested. I wish the food was higher quality but at least does get to eat. My best experiences were the clubs, you get included and meet amazing people but my worst experience was taking to many difficult classes at once without seeking support earlier. The support for AP's, honors, etc could be better since there is not enough time or enough staff who know how to help you

I've gone to Helix since freshman year and have enjoyed my experience so far, I wish I would've taken more advantage of what the school has to offer because it really gives you lots of opportunities. My favorite thing about the school would probably be the dual enrollment, I started doing this my sophomore year and wish I had done more of it then, but I plan to do so as a junior and a senior. Honestly nothing about the school really has to change, they have a great staff team, good/solid rules, and important programs.

This school is very welcoming as a diverse student, from the students to the staff everyone is very kind and welcoming. The school gives you many opportunities to strive for whatever it is that you would like to pursue, and give you lots of support to get where ever it is that you would want to go.

I am going to be a sophomore this upcoming school year and my experience with Helix has been extremely great. A lot of students who graduated were college ready and majority of the seniors I knew got into UC schools. As a freshmen, there is a class called Helix First where students learn about what...
