Overall it's a pretty good school. People keep to themselves and most teachers do a good job breaking things down so the students get a better understanding on the work.

The school is very diverse and everyone knows you very well. It's a small community and things run smoothly. The teachers there dedicate their time in helping students and interacting with then where it becomes more than just a learning experience. There's always a positive attitude around the school and spreads. Lackawanna High School has become my second home. I feel connected and compassionate about what I do there as in working hard to be a top excelling student and communicating and sharing ideas with the diverse load of students and teachers there. The faculty prepares you for college and works with you to meet your goals. I have enjoyed my time there and would take it all back and experience it again.

It's a good school the problem is some of the students don't care about their education or anything for that matter but there are some students that do their best to get good grades and be the example for the students the the grades below.

My step daughter went to school here and they were amazing to her. They helped her whenever she needed it/ wanted it. They went up and beyond making sure she was ready to college. They helped her focus to pick a great school for her and to go into the felid she wanted.

People make fun of people who are mentally disabled at these kinds of schools I wouldn't expect anything less to be honest.

This school has a very serious issue with bullying. If you are different or don't fit in with the "cool" kids watch out. All students don't receive the same treatment or punishments. The majority of the staff don't care and will sweep important issues under the rug. I thank god my child doesn't go t...
