GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Ladysmith High School is pretty standard in Northwest Wisconsin. All basic subjects are covered, along with options to do extras. Plenty of extracurricular activities to do after school, too. It may get crowded because the High School is shared with the Middle School, and bullying can be an issue

Ladysmith provides plenty of opportunities as a small town high school. However, there are some aspects I would like to see changed. The school's staff is quite helpful and friendly, but moving to the high school only one of my teachers introduced themselves to me. There were some clubs I was interested in joining that the school did not have and they were unwilling to start or even discuss starting them.

I have had an awesome English and History teacher. I am moving toward a degree in English teaching. Those teachers helped me a lot. I was very glad otherwise to finish at this High School and move forward to college.
