Overall it was pretty good. I have heard a lot of people say negative things about this school, but I think that is simply how most people feel about middle school. The actual school and learning was not the issue.

Stanley Middle School has a terrible anti-bullying system. My 7th grader got spat on, called fat, and kicked and the school ruled it as “self-defense” because my son had pushed the boy before because he was refusing to let my son pass him. Stanley’s anti-bullying policy is one of the worst I have ever come across. They tolerate bullying and will gaslight your child and blame them for being bullied.

Stanley is a very safe school with strong policies against violence, discrimination, and bullying. As for family engagement, they don't really involve a kid's family in their learning.
