My time at Garrard County High School was nothing special, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as some other high schools in Kentucky. The teachers were nice for the most part, and I believe they did care about the quality of my education and me as a person. The worst part was that we were not a very diverse school, being primarily white, the teachers especially. I hope to see an increase in diversity, especially teachers and administrators.

I love the teachers and most of the staff here, but there are some gaps in food quality and the structure of the classes.

The majority of the teachers truly care about the students and our success. The students there are consistently down-to-earth people and much more kind than the students at my previous high school in Jessamine county. Although the school is not as nice in its facilities and budgets, it is the perfect small town school, and it opened up all the right doors and opportunities for me. I left feeling prepared in academics, and life skills.
