Last year 2019 was my daughters first year in Middle School. She is transitioning from DC public schools to Prince Georges County Public Schools. Ever since her first day at G. James Gholson MS she hasn't liked her experience here. She has complained about the students being disrespectful towards the teachers and staff. She shared an incident where her Math teacher wouldn't assign her a math book so that she could complete her work in his class. (Just being petty) She told me about kids vandalizing school property and just all around ciaos. I feel bad for the children in this community for this school isn't helping the children its job security for the low paying teachers filling these positions. Its takes a leader to lead and no one seems to have that characteristic in G. James Ghulson Middle School. It seems the adults are vindictive towards the kids as if they are children their-selves.

You call the main office and they tell you that you need to email the personnel in order to get an appointment with them yet nobody ever repli...

The bullying is awful they dont do anything to help the children. Why? It seems like they protect the bully instead of the bullied. Please, never send your chi...

Parent/Legal Guardian - I had a visit to the school with my child several months ago and was truly disappointed. The children have no respect for the staff or anyone else for that matter. I was in one of the classes and the young boys in the class talked about their private parts in front of me and...
