Lassen High School has a close-knit, small-town feel with supportive teachers and strong programs in sports and ag. However, college readiness could be better—honors and AP options are limited, and academic rigor depends a lot on how much you push yourself. It's a solid school if you get involved, but resources and prep for higher education could use improvement.

It has been a strange school. The community is very strange and there is nearly too much drama. A lot of fights. And the administration barely takes control or do anything to actually benefit the students. They also don't spend their money is the right way. Instead of making a fund for a new track, we have a dirt track, we spend thousands on an online pass system. The teachers are a 50/50 on whether they are good or not. Some don't care at all about the students or help them enough. Some just pile on work without much clarification. While there are a few good ones. If I were to rate the school on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 4.

Lassen High School has been a great preparation for college. I've been through a variety of academic programs and participated in several clubs and activities, and the faculty is largely supportive of the whole student body. The school has its issues especially regarding fighting, cleanliness, and student demeanor, but aside from these the school is good.

Students are constantly diverted when it comes to some of the schools teachers, some teachers leave the student high and dry while others help and support.
