Overall, my time at Laton High School has been very enjoyable and I have met many people that I am glad to call friends, but there are still some issues. A lot of it can be attributed to the fact that the school is small, which leads to a lack of resources, especially because it is located in a small town where not many even choose to get a higher education. On the other hand, I have still been able to challenge myself in some classes and become ready for college because of the help of staff and others.

My experience at Laton schools in general has been very good for the most part. Since we are a very small school it benefits the students since we have a lot of one on one time with the teacher if we need help. Since we only have about 140 students in our entire high school all kids are allowed to participate in whatever activities and extracurricular sports they desire. The only down fall about it is that we don't have the option of a lot of classes and programs that other schools have. Such as more AP classes, music , nursing program and drivers ed are some of the few that I and many others did not get the chance to participate in .

What I like about Laton High School is that its a small school and everyone helps each other out. What I would like to change about Laton High is to have more things to do in Laton.
