Laurel high school is a very diverse school. I'd say that the people make up the school. The students tend to be rowdy and loud, while the staff often let them be. Despite this, Students are given many opportunities to succeed, whether it be by offering AP and IB courses, or the programs we have at the school, like CISCO, JROTC, and work study.

Laurel High School in general is a complicated place. There are times where it'll seem like the best place to be- such as if you join a few clubs, or continuously make the honor roll. Although, the school does have a bad side that it's been trying to make better over the past few years. Best advice for any new students would be to keep your head focused on your work, and make sure to join every club that interests you.

Its has a pretty big student population of roughly 2300+, so sometimes it can be crowded. Overall the school isnt that bad, we have some really good teacher who care about the students and other that are the opposite.

The teachers are rude in this school, the principal is rude too! They will scare students and parents away from here!

Literally, this is probably—the worst school in Laurel. I've seen people having inappropriate interactions with each other and some people actually got pregnant. People would start fights and no one would do anything until 5-10 minutes later with security. The buildings are old and run down and peop...

Zero stars would be given if possible. This school is AWFUL and so are the staff. My child has been cursed at while going here and has lacked a great deal of support. The process to enroll to now has been trying, challenging, and abrasive (Mrs. Lawson-the registrar). I am also unsure of what the cou...
