The teachers at this school are great, but most of the substitutes are horrible. Our school has amazing fine arts, science, english, and math departments. There are minimal clubs and not many AP/ college readiness classes, but the school itself is pretty nice for it's age.

As the school that I too graduated from many years ago, I would say that not much has changed. They still appreciate that they are preparing young adults for life outside of their walls. My daughter will hopefully achieve everything that she has been allowed to dream and see of her future self.

Laurel is a small town with a pretty tight knit community. While parent involvement is high, the education quality and admin at the school leave things to be desired. All in all, I believe I received a decent education and think that Laurel High School is a good school.

This school is underfunded but the faculty sincerely try to make do. The current administration (principal, superintendent, etc) seem to not understand how a school should be run. However, a student can thrive and make it out of there to pursue an education, should they not drop out prior to graduat...
