Laurel Public School is a place that doesn't really focus on college readiness. They focus primarily on making state education standards and that is it. There are only a few teachers that actually care about the students and helping them succeed.

As the school that I too graduated from many years ago, I would say that not much has changed. They still appreciate that they are preparing young adults for life outside of their walls. My daughter will hopefully achieve everything that she has been allowed to dream and see of her future self.

Not a healthy environment. There is a lot of bullying not taken care of and hate towards people in the LGBTQ community. Also learning is very difficult when you have shortened classes like we do now thanks to the new and weird schedule.

This school is underfunded but the faculty sincerely try to make do. The current administration (principal, superintendent, etc) seem to not understand how a school should be run. However, a student can thrive and make it out of there to pursue an education, should they not drop out prior to graduat...
