Lawrence Free state high school has given me an amazing experience. Almost every teacher has been there when I need them and they are all super helpful. It is a very welcoming school with some amazing students. The extra curricular activities have great coaches that not only help you improve your skills but also help you improve team bonding. One of my least favorite experiences is the vaping and smoking in the bathrooms. Walking in with a crowd of people blocking the bathrooms stops people from actually using them. Since it has become so out of control I feel like they could add a designated spot for these people so that they aren't taking away the space of others. Overall Free State High School was a great experience and I hope they continue to work well in the future. They provide so many different opportunity's in sports and clubs to allow everyone to feel included.

My.child has thrived at every school they have ever attended, every school except Lawrence Free State High School. Teachers are regulars checked out and inattentive to my child's needs. Be Better Free State!

I was a student at Free State, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The teachers only help the top 10% and the bottom 10%. The others in the middle either thrive right under that line, get by on their own or struggle to make it. My mental health was terrible due to the fact that no teachers were willi...

Wonderful school. My child is bright and has excellent reading skills and very good math skills, but struggles with getting projects done. There is a lot of support for struggling students- counseling as well as tutoring and homework help every day after school. I feel lucky that FSHS cares so much...
