I love Lawrence Virtual School. It's the perfect school for student athletes and students who can't handle the structure of an in-person school. The teachers are very understanding, and I learned more than I did at in person school. They give you so much flexibility and resources for success.

I liked many aspects of it. However, some of the science experiments were very monotonous. Also, the math books had way to many problems. I don't feel students need that many problems to learn the concepts. In addition, lots of the skills you learn are not applied to real life situations. Why should we learn things in school that will not help us win in life or help the world become a better place?

How flexible they are about certain things. Like you don't have to go to the class connects. Also they worked with me to set up a plan for college. like right now I am taking college classes and getting dual credit for them.

My student would not have succeeded to graduate without this great school and its caring teachers and administration. Students know when the school is invested in their success, and LVS delivers.
