The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My Overall Experience with Laytonville High School has been great. I love that we are a small school so the teachers pay more close attention to you which makes us a more connected community. Despite all of that it does have some disadvantages for example in sports sometimes we don't have enough kids to make a team or we don't have many options for extracurricular.

worst school ever. not a real school. classes, teachers, and the administer are a total joke. The principal is just a hippy pot farmer who harasses students every day and insults everyone who disagrees with him. Some teachers arent qualified to teach their subject and all they do is talk about their own boring lives and show movies. It's a waste of time. I got nothing out of it.

Laytonville High school tries to offer as many extracurricular activities as possible. Due to the scarce amount of students attending it is hard to get the financial help that is needed.

This school is all about sports, making parents happy, keeping the ADA high so the school doesn'...
