GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loved my time at Southern Coffey County. I love the Honor Flight program that we take twice a year. The teachers were also a big part of my time at SCC. They always made sure I understood what was going on in class even if I took a little while to catch on to some things. The support system at SCC made me feel like home. Even still to this day. I do wish, however, that the students would support each other a bit more. That is the change I would like to see in Southern Coffey County. Support all the clubs, sports, and the band/ vocal. I also wish I could see some more involvement in clubs, but then again both of these things are within the students choices.

Southern Coffey County is a great small town school. With the small class sizes students get more one on one time with home work help. All students get a chance to participate in a sport or club and get to attend all home games for free.

Southern Coffey County is a small school with class size average of around twenty kids per class. I did enjoy have a smaller class. It made it easier to connect with all the students and also the teacher. If I was to change one thing about the school it would be how it punishes students. I feel like the administration is some times too laid back of sure punishment and that punishment should be dealt with be severity and the amount of time the person has been in trouble.
