I loved the diversity in people of Lee Academy. It is my hope that boarding students can continue to come to Lee Academy so that kids who have been raised in a closeminded community can learn it is okay to be different and should be celebrated and that other cultures are just amazing as some think American culture is.

I have lots of positive memories from Lee Academy due to a few wonderful relationships with teachers and my involvement in the arts. However, the inconsistency and lack of professionalism amongst the curriculum and most teachers negatively affect students still to this day.

Its systematically a bad school. They are also the public school provider for the local community. The force the public school kids to walk to a different public school to eat lunch, while boarding students eat lunch at school. Their are no opportunities for tutoring or extra help.
