I'm a Bengali and I moved to USA a year and a half back. At the beginning I was in a different school but due to some unfortunate situation I need to move to Leesburg and join Heritage High School. I was nervous because it was hard to change school within just 2 months. But my counsellor in Heritage High School was really friendly and helpful and she guided me with every subject and made it easy for me. Besides my facilities were really nice and the career center's Mrs Fekel was really helpful with my college admission works. In normal words if I describe Heritage High School then it would be "Simplifying a student's life"

I have planned to go to Heritage High School since I started elementary school, and I have always enjoyed the connection and community Heritage associates and includes with the feeder schools or our "cluster". I, personally have never had a bad teacher. Wether I loved the content of a class or not, I could never completely dread school because I could always find something to love. Even if the school was far from perfect, the people there made it better. If there was anything that I would change, it would be how budgets were handled and the attention the school was given by the county. For example, money was often spent on unecessairy things such as gratuitous screens and technology in the hallways, instead of necessairy improvements and supplies for classrooms and activities such as repairing the long time broken auditorium seats. Though, I don't blame Heritage for these things as it didn't terribly impact the school or its students and it is more of a county-wide to national issue.

Heritage High School provided me with a decent high school experience. I received and exceptional education and got to participate in many sports. Most teachers and students were also very nice and welcoming. However, like many other schools, Heritage has some things it could work on.
