My experience at Frederick Douglass has been amazing, I've learned so much over the last three years. One of my favorite things about the school is the sports and the student diversity in those sports, I started wrestling last semester and I've come to love it so much because of how welcoming the team was to me as a female in a male considered sport. This is one of the best high schools in Lexington not just because of the sports but also because of all the hard work the teachers put into helping the kids learn.

Frederick douglass is an amazing school inside out. The only thing I can say is that my kids will be attending, as its the best for academics.

I'm about to start going to this school and I've heard good and bad things about it but I want to write a before and after opinion on it because I want to see if I'm right about it. I think its a good school the kids are fun besides being messy or it always being a fight or always drama around the school that is a average high school experience the sports seem pretty fun and populated I don't think they really care about college I feel like the administrative team is more focused on passing the kids and allowing them to graduate. I think my experience would be really fun and I would make friends not a lot but my siblings do go here but I have not me transferring from another state would be different but I think it would be really fun and interesting for anyone looking into this school or having thoughts about I I say expect the unexpected.
