The best part of my experience was playing basketball for Clay. I was able to develop new friendships and learn things that could be translated to life in basketball. The worst parts of my experience would be the bomb threats and shooting threats. The safety of students were questionable at times. I would like to see Clay get a new school, and do more to protect their students.

I attended Henry Clay High School in the fall of 2015 and graduated in the Spring of 2019. I love the teachers and staff that worked there. The curriculum was normal. I had difficulties with college readiness.

School is poor repair , many issues , I never felt safe sending my daughter. Frequent fights and over crowding.

This school didn't help me at all to learn what I needed. They only taught me how to suppress ideas and to keep quiet. Most of the administrative staff abuse their power to go after lower income kids and teachers encourage fights. Do not let your child go here.

My children excelled at this school, and it was hard work at times, which helped prepare them for what came next.

Wonderful teachers who actually teach. My daughter was in a different Lexington High School last year and was body slammed and the principal never did anything. Absolutely love Henry Clay. HC IS A MUCH BETTER SCHOOL!!
