Since 1907, Lincoln High School has proudly served the city’s ninth through 12th graders. This public school provides AP courses, Career Technical Education (CTE), and a Cadet Corp to fully prepare students for life beyond high school. Students take eight courses on an alternate-day schedule, with four on one day and four the next. Schoology, Lincoln High’s online learning management program, tracks student outcomes, while assigned counselors check in with students throughout the academic year to keep them aligned with their goals. Students can even partake in interest-focused extracurriculars such as Fashion Club, Future Farmers of America, and Xbox Club. Swimming, cross country, and basketball are a few of the seasonal sports available for althetes. The school honors parent involvement via academic and athletic-based volunteer opportunities. And parents can also use ParentSquare, an app that allows them to receive regular updates on school-related information, and directly message staff.

The best parts are the school community, everyone seems to be connected through sports and different clubs because they are avaliable for everyone. I also enjoy the wide variety of elective subjects they provide, tech through woodshop.

The staff is amazing and our traditions made my experience great! I wish there were less regulations on dress codes.

This school had a pretty decent offering of different pathways, like photography and engineering, and even a pretty good AP roster. However, there is a student body here is is extremely uninterested in a lot of their classes. If you have the motivation, you can get a lot out of your education here, but a lot can't find that motivation.

Okay this is the BEST High School I have ever gone to. I moved to Florida in Oct. 2013 and the way Lincoln does things is great. Some people say that teachers are just there for sports but that's not true, got to DeLand High School and you will know that the teachers at LHS are way better and care w...

The good news: Mostly excellent teachers (especially in AP), a great sense of community and pride. The new(ish) principal (Jay Berns) seems to really be "in it to win it". He seems to want to see the kids succeed. At this school there is a real feeling of belonging. AP teachers are incredibly impres...
