Teachers do an excellent job of working together at the grade level to ensure a consistent approach to curriculum across the grade. From K through 4th grade we have had many teachers with many different teach styles but one thing has been constant - each one has genuinely cared about their students.

My son is only in 1st grade right now so he's not in too many clubs. We did attend the outside movie and some of the restaurant nights the PTA organizes though. We enjoyed the rodeo end of year fund raiser last year and there are several opportunities to participate in walk-a-thon type events. There is a garden club that meets on Mondays I think I will enroll my son in next year. He loved the science camp that was offered over the summer where he was able to meet the teacher that would be his 1st grade teacher that year.

After reading the negative reviews, I feel they are left by people more upset about the structure of learning because of state requirements versus what Bevis has to offer while maintaining state expectations and requirements.
