My high school experience has been pretty good all things considered. Freshman year all the way to senior year were amazing besides tests and homework, but the friends I made are priceless.

There are fights every week and the school has been locked down before. Not super fun and doesn't make you feel safe.

Live Oak is by no means a bad school when based off academics. The Language and Math departments quick honestly shine the brightest. Most staff and teachers are very friendly, so it's rare to find one who's really terrible. The school's biggest problem lies in the fact that school's "spirit" is lacking heavily. Even during football season, things aren't as spirit-filled as they should be. I'm hoping to help change that, but we'll see.

I have really enjoyed having my kids here. The various booster groups seem to be key to getting the extras at the school.
