The administration at Park High was open minded, welcoming, and progressive. The majority of the teachers were kind and patient. However, I don't believe that many of the teachers were thorough in helping the students to understand the work based off of their individual needs, as everyone learns differently. The counselors and mental health resources were very helpful in my opinion. The school greatly lacked diversity among the staff and students, although that is a reflection of the town's demographics.

I think that Park High school is a good school if you plan to not go to higher education. They try to prepare you in the best way possible but just don't have the resources. You can still achieve the minimum education level and above that if you use the online classes that are available. Teachers and staff do the best they can with what they have available. Unfortunately they are limited by the resources available.

I feel that Park High is very average as far as schools go. We don't have the resources required for the school to be "nice", like schools in bigger cities, but we do fairly well with what we have. The general ethos of the school is very standard as well and I think it could benefit from trying to do things differently.

The administration is very rude. That is before you are directly involved with the school. I am certain it translates to the way students and staff are treated.

We specifically moved to Livingston for Park High School - our daughter was going to start as Sophomore, and we were very hopeful that PHS would provide her with a great education combined with sports and social activities. Unfortunately, it didn't long for us to realize that we had been misled by t...
