GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Esperanza Collge prep is a school where it thrives in culture and family. Enrolling at my high school was the best decision for me as they helped grow as a female ready to attack the world. They prepare their students with excellence to ensure they can create changes in their community. While my school is great academically there is some issues with clubs and activities. Due the small campus there isn't advance sports teams that we could have. Many of our teams are small because of the space and aren't as competitive as other schools in the district. Although we don't have the best sports facilities Esperanza makes playing sports fun and creating an environment where we can be ourself.

The best experience I've had at this school is with my friends at community service field trips they hold. we get to help the community while also building connections with friends and others who will help us in the future. I find this to be one of the best opportunities my school offers other than the college prep they provide. One of the worst experiences was with a specific teacher. this teacher made it very hard for me to pass the class and had a less-than-positive impact on my education. it caused me unnecessary stress so I fought for my education and the issue was resolved.

I love the positive multigenerational change that they stand for. They make sure us as students are in a safe environment and given the proper educations. Not only that but the safety at our school is amazing we always have people checking in on us making us feel welcome to not only students but also parents, teachers, and staff.

This school is absolutely amazing! When you walk into any community event they have, you can really see and feel their core value of "familia".
