There are some amazing teachers here. The administrators do not care for discipline and most consequences are unjust and favored. But certain college prep classes are very advanced. The facilities are not very good, and the resources for the kids who do not involve themselves in sports is poor. We have good boys sports teams though, so nothing else matters.

Lucas High School has great school spirit, but lacks when it comes to the building it is facilitated in.

There aren't a lot of choices for this school but every club is welcoming with open arms. Even the National Honors Society is willing to help students boost their grads and gpas to allow them to achieve high academic standards.
