Maple Grove Elementary School has served Southwest Boise since 1949. Originally located at the corner of Franklin and Maple Grove Roads, the school relocated to its current building in 1968 to address the growing need for larger schools in the Boise area.
Maple Grove currently offers 28 classrooms, a new gymnasium and restroom facilities in addition to an expansive recreation field.
At Maple Grove, educators encourage kids to be lifelong learners and contributing citizens by modeling respect, dignity, honesty, responsibility and teamwork. These values can be seen in the school’s above-average math, reading and science performance and the consistently positive remarks former students have for the school after graduating.
Maple Grove students have various educational opportunities to explore throughout their kindergarten through sixth-grade years. Academic highlights include the music and orchestral program and outdoor education classes. The school also hosts many fun events such as the annual Spirit Night where kids and parents can join in games, and the boys’ and girls’ track and basketball team competitions where the students cheer on the Maple Grove Grizzlies to victory.
Maple Grove Elementary is known for putting the "fun" in its fundraising events and community outreach programs, making the school a fantastic choice for learning and building friendships.

My two grandsons go to Maple Grove and I am very pleased with their principle, staff and teachers. They are amazing! They are all always available for the students and parents/guardians and have our children's best interest at heart. Thank you Maple Grove you are deeply appreciated.
