GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

2% diversity If your child is bullied and reports it. The teachers do not intervene. On-site police do not intervene. A student was attacked this week and fought back. The assailant had a friend film only while just showing herself as the victim so she could post a video online. Now the child that was bullied has been suspended and the assailant is bragging through the school. There is zero justice or safety here. Other students have had similar attacks.

Maquoketa High School does not provide the knowledge I should have. I have had to learn multiple aspects by myself. But our school does offer many online college classes, providing me with online teachers that are very helpful.

Letting my children attend this school was the biggest mistake that I have made in my life, and this is saying something, as I have made quite a few mistakes.
