GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I was in sequoia pathway academy from junior High all the way to my senior year . The school is decent. It started out amazing then loosing the good staff, it went down hill from there . The funding is bad . There is no clubs or activities. Some sports get more funding then other sports . The lunch is horrible . Many times it's usually burnt or just looks unpleasant. Some staff is better than others. I would recommend this school if you wanted a small school feel and little learning but if you wanted your kid to have a real high school experience with lots of people, clubs, and good programs. Do not take them to pathway.

I love the atmosphere and community, but that can come back to be a downside in the off chance someone beloved is forced to leave like what just happened. A teacher widely loved was fired, and it caused protests and a wave of resignments.

I have gone through so many horrible things while I was thereand I felt like I was drowning at some points but they truly stick to their motto "Where Every Child Is Known" because every teacher knew every student and everything about that student. They knew my family, friends, my likes and dislikes. If I was going through something, I knew that I could always rely on someone. Of couse there were a few teachers that would not care but they would leave pretty quickly if they didn't so you knew that if a techer had been there for years you could trust them.

It’s like being locked up in a prison cage and being treated like a dog, talked to like a dog, looked at like a dog

Administration has caused this school to go from a great school to a failing school in just a few years. My son has been at Pathway for 8 years and we are looking at transferring him to a better school, where the administration works with the teachers instead of intimidating them. Edkey needs to get...

Extremely disappointed with this school. We are now faced with pulling our children mid year and homeschooling until next year or suffering out the remaining months.

I am a student at Sequoia Pathway Academy. Last year when I was in my 10th year I found that there were several core class teachers that did not take their job seriously. It took nearly the entire school year to excuse one teacher from her teaching duties and it turned out to be a mutual agreement....
