This school is nothing but a opportunity for not just the students but for the parents. This school is a 5-year high school program where you get a high school diploma and associates degree of your choice. You go on fun trips such as trips to colleges, new york, cruises, and fairs.

I overall enjoyed my 5 years at MEC, I appreciated the ability to get both a high school diploma and an associates of Science degree at a low cost for 5 years of schooling.

It is a great school with an amazing diversity of students. Not only do they care about their students academic life but they also care about a students personal life. It is also a great school in which they like to learn and help by sharing the cultures around the world. We also hold events in which the whole school is able to participate a great example would be the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration we had. We incorporated with events in which the school played traditional. It is also a great opportunity to receive your associates degree while you are also receiving you High School diploma with a very low cost. There is also no cost towards books MEC provides them free to students. We are also one of three high schools in the county and while we are located in a college campus high school sports are provided by McDowell High School.

They schedule EVERYTHING LAST MINUTE AND EXPECT PARENTS TO CHANGE THEIR SCHEDULES AROUND TO ACCOMMODATE....
