It is a good school. However their main priority always has and will be football. All the money goes there. I find that the academics are reallly average.

Going into high school freshman year, I was terrified. I waited so long to finally get to high school and I didn't know what to expect. When I first stepped foot into campus and Mater Dei, I was relieved and excited for what would come in the future for me at Mater Dei. I am currently involved in the Hip Hop Dance Team, ASB, and Girls Flag Football. So far I have been so proud of what I have achieved at MD. The staff is always willing to help me with whatever I need and I have been so lucky to have been taught by wonderful teachers. The friends I have made have been very kind and I know I will be friends with them for a while. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the Mater Dei Monarch community.

Literally a mess, the school doesn't care much about how the students feel about their teachers (PHYSICS CLASS IS A NIGHTMARE TO ALL STUDENTS) and the school doesn't even want to change the teachers for better ones. It seems like the school spent too much money on sports and academics were left behind.
