Kids are miserable and dont have respect. Most teachers are lazy and the academics are not hard at all, not a good school. Food is horrible. No information about clubs or anything even though they exist.

From other perspectives on the outside, they say it's crazy but when you're on the inside it's not as bad as people tell it to be. Yes, it has its moments but this is a bad school.

I love the atmosphere at Thomas McKean High School. It is a place that I actually enjoy going to, which isn't a common occurrence among high school students. I hope that the atmosphere stays the same or improves because I would hate to see it dissipate.

If you love your child, do NOT send them to this school. And good luck if they have no choice but to go to public school in Delaware. I visited several times since my child was disabled and not able to tell me what happened during the school day. It was extremely disturbing at each and every visit....

I enjoyed my time there while I was there because I made plenty of friends and success was easy to find. Look, it's as easy as this: if you take the honors and AP classes and avoid troublesome teens, you'll have probably the best high school experience you could ask for. Simple.
